Low Headroom Electric Chain Hoist

There have been instance where our clients faced difficulty with normal chain hoist because of low headroom chain hoist available above the machinery to be lifted. Keeping this in mind our design department has launced the hoist that requires ultra low headroom. LOADMATE Super low headroom hoist is designed for very limited headroom applications, where a normal hoist cannot be used. The ultra low headroom series starts from 1 Ton and ranges upto 5 Ton.
Maximum Overhead Clearance
The low headroom hoist design minimizes beam-to-hook distance
  • Taller equipments/machines can be accommodated under assembly bays by creating additional workspace
  • In existing building where there is a height restriction, this can reduce bridge crane profiles
  • Clearance can be increased under bridge cranes and mezzanines by minimizing the jib crane heights
  • The cost of new construction of ceiling to create some more workspace can be saved
Position loads precisely and reliably for years
A low headroom hoist avoids unnecessary contacts of load and the production machinery placed under it to prevent the damage to both load and the machinery
  • As it is a chain hoist, the benefit of \\\'True Vertical Lift\\\' is leveraged.
  • Standard motor brakes are used to increase stopping accuracy and holding force
  • With the adjustable rotary limit switch, the upper and lower hook stops can be adjusted.
Standard Features of low headroom hoist
  • Heavy Duty motors
  • Low-headroom design to increase workspace
  • True-vertical lift without any extra cost
  • Enclosed in-line gear train with oil bath lubrication for smoother operation
  • Mechanical load brake to enhance the safety
  • Electric motor brake for the accuracy of the chain stops
  • Emergency upper and lower limit switch to guard the chain motion
  • Reversing controls and pendant to avoid the hoist running in case of phase reversal
  • 440 Volts — 50 Hz — 3 Phase

How To Install A Electric Chain Hoist?

Things to create positive before installation: The  electric chain hoist  and  trolley   are prepackaged severally. first, check if the number of the  hoist  accords with the number of units in the invoice and if their area unit any damages occurred from the transportation or abnormal packing. Also, Check the plate and see if the rated capacity, lifting speed, lifting height,  cross traveling   speed in addition because the power provide is up to plain. Check if screws of prime hook set are loosed and if the chains are knotted and twisted. 1. Check the track where the hoist and trolley combo is to be mounted: The run track of the hoist adopted is the I- Beam steel. The range of width is 75-180 mm for 1T - 2T and 100-180 mm for 3T-5T. The track for running should be smooth and its swerve radius cannot but the minimum radius stipulated within the plate. the location of axle height at the tip of the track should be mounted a physical property b...

For companies requiring overhead lifting operations, taking steps to avoid crane failure is critical to ensuring the safety of workers and overall efficiency of operations. No matter the specific  industry  or type of job site, taking a number of simple precautions can greatly reduce the risk of overhead crane failure. Employing high-quality, reliable  inspecting equipment  is critical for determining whether any mechanical problems are present that may lead to accidents. Inspections should involve checking for cracks, faulty wiring, worn-out ropes, and damaged parts. Crane technicians must also make sure the crane doesn’t exceed rated capacity and that all safety devices are working properly. Initial inspection — This consists of an inspection in accordance with the original manufacturer’s recommendations, as well as documentation of the inspection. Pre-shift inspection — This consists of an inspection in accordance with crane-operator. Frequent inspections ...
